If you really
care about an
issue then why wait for someone else to solve it?
I joined the Student Voice Network because things need to change, and I believe students are the ones who can do it.
- Jade J, 15
I founded the Student Voice Network because I was tired of leaving my future to chance

I've been looking to join a platform like this for a while and I am very glad I found it!
FOR STUDENTS, BY STUDENTS
WHAT IS THE STUDENT VOICE NETWORK?
The Student Voice Network is a FREE, virtual platform for all students to share resources, meet like minded-youth and come together to take collective action on the issues that are important to them.
I feel that I can do more with the help of my peers than I could do alone.
- Camryn Howell, 17
I joined to work with people who want to be the voice of the people who are suffering in the shadows, to make a difference in what I’m passionate about
- Farzana Qasimi, 16
I want to be empowered as well as empower other's to lead change
- Esther Ellwood, 15
For students, by students.
As students ourselves we feel comfortable saying we know our target group pretty well. We understand what's it's like to feel unheard but as we come together, make new friends, we are creating an
unstoppable platform for change.
All you need is wifi.
Every Australian student that has access to a wifi signal has the opportunity
to access our resources and join us as an SVN member. It's that simple.
Commitment is up to you.
Fear of commitment? We've got you. Our members decide their own commitment. We want every experience with the Student Voice Network to be positive and as students ourselves we know how busy things get. Our members decide the right commitment for them whether that's putting up 1 poster in a year or creating their own campaigns and taking a leadership position, what's right for our members is right for us.
Many issues, one platform.
Instead of being pulled thin by multiple organisations asking students to support their cause, our members get to meet like-minded youth and are empowered to take action on the issues that are important to them. We are one of few groups across the country that operates in both humanitarian and environmental fields (often crossing over) from the base of one singular platform. That means a lot less emails.
No need to reinvent the wheel.
At the Student Voice Network we not only learn from other students but from teachers, schools and industry professionals that guide us to make informed and educated choices to make the best difference possible. We do this through our School Data Bank, Teacher Ally Program and our Advisory Council.
